Abstract

With the help of spss software, with the help of Pearson's test, the level of significance and standard deviation, the present research has come to the conclusion that there is a significant relationship between the active teaching methods of Arabic lessons and the autonomy of first and second high school female students in Kohrang city. This order that as the quality and amount of use of active teaching methods of Arabic lessons increases among the teachers, it leads to an increase in internal autonomy, which is equal to the highest level of motivation (i.e., self-determination). Also, the current research shows that the Arabic teachers of Kohrang are trying to increase the motivation to learn Arabic with the help of active teaching methods. Also, the use of active methods of teaching Arabic lessons has eliminated the need for students' competence; That is, with the help of active Arabic teaching methods provided by the teachers, students can show their different abilities and skills, including performing plays, handicrafts, and poetry.

So, when teachers use active teaching methods, at first, it appears as an external motivation of the type of external adjustment in students, which increases the students' motivation simply to encourage or not punish them. And then it appears as an internalized external motivation, which has a higher level than the external regulation motivation, and finally becomes high autonomy, which is the high internal motivation and the turning point of Desi and Ryan's theory of self-determination. they arrive
