Abstract
Rhetoric has been one of the most important courses in Arabic literature and language teaching that experts has noticed on teaching it since a long time ago, and that is because rhetoric shows inimitability of the Quran and has discovered the beauty of poems and prose and strengthen its educational literary interest. Thus we should use advanced strategies in teaching which emphasis on students and help them to increase their creativity and innovation skill, have expert’s literary interest, and discover the beauties of Quran or literary writings.
Thus, in this study we are trying -using descriptive-analytic method, and survey method, and questionnaire- to find out the amount of using these strategies in teaching Arabic rhetoric in Iran’s state universities. Our purpose is to help teachers to teach this lesson better and improve student’s literary interest skill. The results of this study show (in teacher's opinion) that they occasionally use the most important teaching strategies, such as speech strategy, discussion, problem solving, brainstorming, and cooperative learning, but according to students, teachers rarely use these strategies.
