Abstract

The present study examines the level of difficulty in learning the four skills of the Arabic language by male and female students of Farhangian University (West Azerbaijan Province). The data collection is based on a questionnaire made by the researcher, which was reviewed with a descriptive analytical approach and the use of statistical analysis methods after commenting on the research sample. The sample studied in the current research is 100 male and female students in different academic semesters who were randomly selected. spss (multivariate analysis of variance, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage) was used for data analysis. This research includes several axes, first: theoretical framework focusing on language skills and difficulties faced by language learners and suggested strategies to improve it. Second: research method and tools. Third: Statistical analysis of the data obtained from the answers of the studied sample to find the most important weaknesses and difficulties of Arabic language teaching in Farhangian University, and to examine the results. And in the end, the results were obtained, the most important of which is that the male and female students of Farhangian University have many problems in teaching language skills, including speaking and writing, and among them, the problems of male students are more than the female ones, and this shows that girls They have better language ability than boys.
