The Criticism on the Content and Knowledge of Arabic Textbook
(The case study of third year of high school humanities field textbook)
Abstract
Since teaching a language –as one of the most important course in the educational system- is a crucial task, hence it is absolutely needed to have a constructive study on educational and training field which can direct students toward intended targets, and also eliminate educational barriers. According to education scholars belief that one of the most necessary elements for learning a language is the textbook, but unfortunately students are elusive to learn Arabic these days, and due to the students intensive fall, most of the Arabic teachers and educationist attempt to increase the Arabic language attractiveness, so it would also boost their motivation to learn the Holy Quran language. The purpose of this article is analyzing the strong and weak points of third year of high school humanities field Arabic textbook, this article is based on experimental descriptive analytical study which considers texts, exercises and translation parts of the textbook. According to the article result the authors have found that there is no professional attention in teaching Arabic as the second language, and there is a long way to reach to its satisfying level. In this regard, making drastic changes, in various educational parts, and educational cooperation are needed. One of the most practical solution to improve this situation is to promote Arabic language teachers knowledge level and utilizing new educational techniques.
