Abstract
This research discusses the importance of language skills for communication and the use of language games as a strategy to enhance these skills. Language, whether through listening, speaking, reading, or writing, is essential for communication. Teaching methods sometimes lack an active environment, prompting research to explore language games as a means to help learners acquire language proficiency. By creating an engaging environment, language games can increase learners' enthusiasm and experiences. Research focuses on developing language education and supportive methods for learner participation. This study aimed to describe the language game strategy, identify its components, and assess its impact on success. Tools like procedural guides and questionnaires were used, with an experimental group applying the strategy and a control group following traditional methods. Components such as attracting interest, motivating participation, and emphasising the necessity of engagement were found to enhance communication skills. The success of the strategy relied on encouraging interaction and positive engagement in the activities. Overall, language games offer a practical approach to improving communication skills through active participation and experience.
